The aim of the meeting is to bring together plasma physicists and astrophysicists to discuss the most recent advances in the study of the physics of accretion disks and supersonic jets in star formation regions and active galactic nuclei. The focus will be on momentum transport in plasmas by comparing the results of hydro and MHD analytical models and numerical simulations with laboratory experiments and astrophysical data.

The meeting will provide a general view of the existing results from the investigations of prominent scientists in the field in the spirit of producing directions for future research.

The venue will be in one of the most renowned areas of Piemonte for the production of wines and chocolates and in the season of the white truffles festival.
